Thursday December 24th!

안녕하서요!! What is up?! It is Xmas Eve here in Korea!! :D I think a lot has happened since Thursday!!! Friday, I had tutor like always!! But afterwards, Ana and I were hanging out watching tv when Ama and Apa came in. They said they got a phone call from the counselor. That's when I was like OH NO! What now?? But then they talked to me and said I was moving to another family this Sunday! :o 2 Days away!! I was shocked, excited, sad, and nervous all at the same time! That's exactly what I felt like before I came to Korea. I was really sad, though, that I was leaving Ana :( She will always be my sister!!
Saturday, I had another half day of school. It was pretty boring. School is school, but afterwards Ana and I went to Nampodong!! We had to finish our Christmas shopping! (Finally!) Then, we met up with Ama and Apa for dinner. We had pizza at our favorite place. MR. PIZZA!! Gosh, I wish America had Mr. Pizza!! So good!! Anyways, after that we just walked a little around Nampodong. They were having Xmas Singing Contest in the center of Nampodong. Our Apa had a couple of kids sing in it so we got to meet them. They seemed really nice. :) Afterwards, we had Japenese skiskabobs! The best I've had. The meat is really good and they put really great sides to go with it!! The sad part of the night was when my Ama started crying, because I said this was the last dinner we were going to have with each other as one family. It showed, though, how much I was apart of their family then.
Sunday, was the day I was moving. I got up at 8:30 am and started packing my stuff. Six hours later I was finally done! :o When I came here, I had 2 suitcases and my backpack. Plus also, my purse. When I left my first home I had 3 suitcases, 1 extra bag, backpack, and also my purse!! :o 7 bags!! How am I going to fit all that stuff into 2 suitcases and a carry on for America!! Anyways, we headed towards Namcheon (new home) about 4 o clock. I met my new family. They are really nice!! There's a mom and 2 daughters. One is 13 and they other is my age. I've been getting along with them really well!
Monday, was the first day I went to school from my new home. It's so much further away then where I first lived. I have to now leave at 6:45 am!! :o Before I had to leave about an hour later!! But this Wednesday was my last day for school until Winter break, so I told myself only 2 more days! School was normal. After school, we went to the Christmas in Busan Festival!! It was really fun! We went with Lea. First, we had the korean dinner they served us. It was alright. Then, the festival is where you walk around the college. You follow the Xmas lights like a path! We took a lot of picutres! It made Ana and I really pumped up for Xmas, even though we really weren't doing anything.
Wednesday, was the last day of school!! :D YES!! well, we go back to school the second week of February. We go to school that whole week, then we have our Spring Break for the next 2 weeks. So technically, we don't really go back to school till March!! :) Anyways, on wednesday all we did was clean out our lockers and desks, sat around a little bit, my teacher talked to the class, and finally the closing talk in the gym. After that we went to the new LOTTE mall thats in Nampodong!! It was huge!! We saw there a Charlie Brown anniversary thing! It was so cute!! After that, Jarrett invited Ana and I to go to his High school. His school was having a talent show thing. It was an all boys school. When Ana and I walked in, you'd think some alien walked in on them! Every single boy was staring at us!! :o We were a little nervous! hahaha. But I am never sending my kids to an all boys or all girls school. At one point in the show, a group of girls were dancing. The boys went nuts. I personally thought it was kind of pathethic, but that was just my opinon. Afterwards, we went to Jarrett's house to hang out just for a little bit. That was basically what happened since I talked last. Today, Jarrett, UNyoung, Lea, and Ana are coming over to hang out for Xmas eve. Probably going to eat pizza! Hhahaha. AGAIN!! ;) but I'll TTYL!!

Wednesday December 16th

HI guys! Right now, I am in school! Yay! Hahaha!! Not really. :) Last Friday, Hanna's ama decided to invite the kids to see a musicial performance after our tutor! It was really great! It was the Korean movie version of Mammia Mia! I never saw the english version either, but it was so funny and it was really good. The only issue I had was that the main character had the worst voice out of everyone! :o You would think they could put the best singer, but I don't think that matters to them. Anyways, I saw a lot of my friends from school there, since it involved acting and singing. It was good to see them outside of school and introduce them to my foreign friends.
The next day, we had orientation :( It was so boring like all the rest! But afterwards, we met up with Jarrett's friends from his school. :) They were so nice!! I think I scared them though! I yelled at them 사랑해!! (I love you!) and hugged them! embarrassing... :D Then, the counselor called us saying we needed to be home by 10 pm, but we already bought our tickets :$ oh well...
Sunday, was really fun! Ana and I met up with Daphne to go to my first animae convention! There were so many people in costumes and I bought I lot of cute pins and keychains there! It was so much fun!! Afterwards, we decided to go home really early.
Tuesday, we had tutor, but instead I talked with my counselor Miss Ahn. It was so boring talking to her. I can't trust her. You don't know if she is telling the truth or stretching it. It's so frustrating, just having a conversation with her!!
Today, was a good day in school. I forgot my acting clothes, but in class we only played a game. It was where there's two "bad" guys who wink at the good guys. If you get winked at, you die. I got to be "bad!" I was the winner!! I was so pro. LOLZ! The other classes I got to help out with the English teacher. So we danced the Cha Cha slide all day. Great day! TTYL

Thursday December 10th

Hi everyone!! This past week was really fun!! Friday was the first day of our week long break from school!! The kids had finals, so we could stay home! :D Friday, we went to the tutor as usual. Afterwards, though, we went to see New Moon (finally!) I was dying to see it after you guys had it out for 2 weeks already!! I love those movies so much!! The only bad thing about it was that I sat next to Jarrett and he complained the whole time how I was drooling over the guys. I was like, why did you come?? We all were like that!!
Saturday was so much fun!! It was probably my favorite day of the week!! First, we met up with our friend/teacher Alex. He teaches English at our school. He is from Texas. We went with him, his friend Nana, and a couple of his Korean friends. We ending up going to a basketball game. I was so excitied!! :D I love watching live basketball! There was actually a guy from UW-Madison playing for Busan!! <3 He was of course, my favorite!! Afterwards, we went to Chicken and Beer restaurant. It was so delicious!! It was nice getting to know Alex and his friends more! We got invited to meet his family in January when they come from Mexico. I'm a little nervous!!

After the dinner, we went to Daphne's going away party! She's not going back to Canada, she's moving in with her new family. She was really sad. She loves Japenese Food now. (she was living with a Japanese family) They had amazing food!! :o I was a little jealous, because she got to live with that!! Her family was sooo cute!! Especially the little sister, but I don't know if I could live with a little sister. I think sometimes, I would go nuts!! :) It was a great day that day!

The next day, Jarrett invited us to go moutain climbing. I was getting really excited. The only problem with that day was that it was really cold!! I looked so horrible, but nobody really cared how they looked!! It was early, and cold! :D LOLZ. We first went to the Buddist temple, then started hiking. It was easier than I thought. We then, stopped at a place called Jangsan Village. There was a bunch of cute puppies!! My favorite is the picture down below! <3 I named him Charlie!! Then, we had noodle soup for lunch. While we were eating, Ana and I realized we totally forgot to call AMa and Apa and ask about going out! :o They were out the night before and didn't come home so we mistakenly forgot! We felt so bad!! Anyways, afterwards we went down the mountain and went to Hanna's home. We met her mother and hung out in her room for a while. Then, we got in a taxi and headed towards Home Plus. LOVE THAT PLACE! They have micorwave popcorn!! Ana and I could never find it!!


Wednesday was our last no school day! :( But we didn't waste it. We went to Nampodong!! :D Daphne, Lea, Ana, and me finally saw the movie NINJA ASSAJIN!! Amazing! There was so much blood and the singer Rain played as the main character! Gorgeous!! I really recommend the movie!! Then, we went shopping. I just started my shopping for secret santa. The Rotary Kids decided to do it! I'm really excited. So I just started making a list of what I WANT to buy. I came up with 13!! :o Hopefully, I'll be able to buy all of them by the time I leave!! Today, was a pretty good day. The girls gave me a Korean makeover!! haha. It was funny! The only bad part of the day was when I got a stomachache, I went to the nurse, to lay down and the door was locked! :P That helped! But tomorrow, we're planning on going to a musical!! CAn't wait and this weekend is going to be booked with stuff! :) TTYL!!

Thursday December 3rd

Hey everyone! Hows it going?? The last time I wrote was Thanksgiving. That night, I called up a few of the Rotary kids and went out to dinner for thanksgiving. It made me really homesick though, because all we had was pizza. At least it was really great pizza :D That Saturday, the Rotary kids hung out at the Haundae mall. It's called Spuntz. We were planning on seeing a movie there, but when the lady asked us if we were students we said yes. She said oh are you college and the other kids were no were high school!! I was like what are doing?? it was a rated R film!! Then she's like oh you guys can't see it! Then the kids were confused and I was like wow, I clap for you guys! Great performance! :) We ate at Burger King afterwards. God, I've missed that place! Afterwards, we went shopping for a little bit. I wasn't really in the mood for shopping. Then, the kids wanted to go to the NINJA ASSAJIN movie, but it was already 6 pm. We live farther away then the other kids with the strictest family, so we went to a PC room. Sunday was the best!! First, we went to church. We haven't gone in a while so it felt good to see our friends from there. After that, we called a few friends from Rotary and school to hang out. It was the first time we hung out with the Rotary friends and school friends at once. :) It was fun! We went to the community spa! I love it there!! Now to set it straight. When we go nude, boys and girls are seperated!! (MOM!!) hahaha. Afterwards, we went to PIZZA BINGO. They have large pizzas for 5 bucks! Favorite place! Then, we went to the karokee! My friends from school (Grace and Bear) are amazing singers! i was so shocked!! :o Monday, I got a card from my sister Amanda. She sent a birthday card, a letter, pictures of my nephew Owen, and a drawing Owen drew for Thanksgiving. It brought tears to my eyes reading it! I miss them so much! Tuesday, was the tutor. Everything went normal. Afterwards, we went to Mr. Pizza. GREAT! Wednesday, was great! After school, ama and apa took us to Nampodong! <3 We ate at a really great pizza/pasta place. The ironic thing about it I ate a steak :) But its not as good as American steaks. Then, we went to a Japenese restaraunt for shiskabobs (spelling?) They were amazing!! (drooling) Then, they took us to get ice cream at McDonalds! Food Baby!! (inside joke with the Rotary kids!) I slept so good that night with that much food in me! When we got home, Mr. Jang (chairman) came by. I thought he would tell us our new families but no he just came by to talk. :( I got so excited!! Ama and Apa promised us they would take us to a theme park before we both move out!! :D I can't wait for that! I LOVE rollocoaters!! Today, is a slow day. But I don't have to go to school for a whole week, because the school is taking finals!! :D yay!! Monday, apa arranged a Busan tour for us while we're on our school break! YES!! My camera is working well so I'll put ana's pics on here for you to see!! TTYL!! <3
